The septons sing of laying down our burdens and voyaging to a far sweet land where we may laugh and love and feast until the end of days…but what if there is no land of light and honey, only cold and dark and pain beyond the wall called death?

So one cool thing about SCAD is that we have an archive of Don Bluth’s artwork. If you’re not familiar with Don Bluth, he’s the head animator behind productions such as “The Secret of Nimh”, “Titan A.E.”, “Thumbelina”, “Dragon’s Lair: The Game”, and the ever-so-popular, “Anastasia”. Our library keeps stacks upon stacks upon stacks (and that’s putting it lightly) of his artwork. This includes: concept sketches, matte paintings, storyboards, character designs, backgrounds and layouts, etc…

I only took a few photos because there was just too much to take in at once. Literally… piles upon piles of all this greatness.

Oh my lord…….
